First of all, Beckett’s mom’s death was a secondary plotline. The episode was clearly about moving forward. About giving up to be happy. About Caskett.
Second of all, this is a television show! If everything smelled like roses week after week no one would watch. The Bromance will be back.
Lastly, Nathan Fillion rocked my effing socks during the scene in Beckett’s apartment! The speech was beyond amazing!
